Cluster started at the Ministry of Higher Education to develop and review the language and literature of the educational foundations

At the very commencement of the cluster, Dr. Latfuallah Khairkhwa, Deputy Minister for Academic Affairs, said that language is the best means of knowing the culture, thoughts and mentality of a society and transferring it from one generation to another. He also considered the mentioned cluster so beneficial.
“Languages naturally effect on each other, and foreign languages effect our national languages and as well the terms and words, which come from other languages effect our culture,” said deputy minister.
Mr. Khairkhwa insisted on the enrichment of national languages  to avert the influence of foreign culture and he gave the necessary recommendations to the participants.
Additionally, Mufti Abdul Rauf Farahi, the director of curriculum, spoke about the value of this cluster.
At the end, the member of the National Curriculum Commission, Prof. Dawood Shah Farooq explained the structure of the work and added that within 5 working days on the languages and literature curriculum will be worked on.
